Matt Scroggs

Owner/General Contractor

An Asheville Native, Matt graduated from Reynolds High School and attended Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College where he received an Associate Degree in Computer Programming specializing in business applications. He spent five years as a DP manager at a local bank while serving as a volunteer Fire Fighter in Buncombe County where he quickly realized that community service was his passion and made fire fighting his full time career.  The immense amount of training required in the structural components of buildings sparked his interest in construction and he started his first construction business WinSide, a windows and siding installation and showroom, in 1990.   Since then he has retired from firefighting after 25 years of service and owned and operated several Remodeling and General Contracting Businesses throughout the Asheville area after obtaining his General Contractors License in 2007.
